INTERVIEW: MR. JULY 2019 - SEAN URBSHOT
Check out this star-spangled stud, Sean from Aurora Fire Rescue. Making Mr. July even hotter, Sean is a veteran, so be sure to thank him for his service when you see him out and about at one of our next events.
He’s a Pacific Islander, born in Frankfurt, Germany. He has been all over the place but mainly grew up in Michigan. Sean’s father was active in the fire service for 22 years. He wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps when he became a firefighter and to help make a difference in people’s lives.
So how did this hunk prepare for the calendar? His training consisted of focused weight training, followed by fasting cardio. He put in a lot of extra work at the gym and continued to push himself to stay on top of his fitness. For the most part, he kept to a healthy eating regime but there were a few cheat days where pizza was involved.
Before moving to Colorado, Sean was a firefighter in Las Vegas, where he also donated his time supporting local burn survivors and raising money to send them to “Scars Camp.” It only made sense for him to continue giving streak by becoming part of the Colorado Firefighter Calendar and giving back to burn survivors of Children’s Hospital Colorado.
He traded in the Sin City for the Mile High City, and we couldn’t be happier to have him as Mr. July. You can meet Sean and the rest of the Colorado Firefighter Calendar firefighters at the 2020 Release Party on Friday, 8/9 at the Seawell Ballroom. Get tickets here.
